華聲合唱團將於四月二十八日與Austin龍吟合唱團舉行春季聯合演唱會，誠摯的邀請您閤府光臨。也敬請代邀您的朋友，社團團員，老師，學生，家長一同來觀賞。

華聲合唱團秉著一向的理念，努力臻至高水準之演出，服務社區，以歌會友，藉著音樂與歌聲致力於文化交流。在指揮和藝術指導周正雄先生的領導下﹐我們追求歌唱的進步﹑表演的成功﹐並伸展我們的友誼與達福地區內外的合唱團同臺演出。

今年的春季聯合演唱會，將為您演唱山旅之歌組曲﹑迎向春天﹑龍的傳人等﹐以及大家都耳熟能詳的中國民族歌曲和流行歌曲。其中許多 歌是由華聲的美國鋼琴伴奏家John Lewis編成合唱曲。希望您盡情享受並有個愉快的週六下午。

四月十四日
竟然是今年最「酷」的一天
氣溫突然驟降 近乎冰點
空曠處寒風如刀割
冷得手耳刺痛 鼻水直流
許多小朋友實在受不了
走一小圈便不得不躲在車裏避寒

Linda 與我冒着刺骨寒風
堅持走完我們每年固定的步道路線
往年汗流夾背要55分鐘
今天連走帶跑只用了45分鐘
老天大概看見我們的毅力
讓我們中了一個摸彩獎
Sunbeam牌的 Contact Grill

感謝中華社團聯誼會會長張誠淑小姐
以及許多出錢出力不求名利的義工與贊助單位
他們默默地為華人社區不斷地耕耘
我們才有一次又一次的活動
除了感恩還是感恩

Exploring the Shangri-La

Having planned and organized for months, JJ will initially starts his travel team today. Some of our friends such as Susan, Bill, Lydia and Cathy, etc. will be members of the team to c0-explorer the secret face of Shangrila in Yunnan, China. For sure, I will ask them to share the beautiful pictures here when they come back in May.

We wish them all a fruitful and peaceful trip!

Winter Has Gone

My good friends Chaulin and Ms. Tsai called and came to see me Monday morning with Susan, Stella and Edison together, bringing a big box of Korean pears and a warm get-well greeting card with many of your good-well signatures.

I am deeply appreciated the purpose of the visit and feel real grateful for all your concerns on my recent healthy problem. I am getting much better now, pain almot gone. Thank you all!

After this very unique incident, the cold, chilly winter has gone and I feel spring is back to my heart.

Another Glorious Night for Daayo

The Daayo Spring Concert conducted by Dr. Sun (Symhony Orchestra) broke another record of verioty performance last night at the Charles W. Eisemann Center.

The first three music are all by Saint-Seans. This is a unique arrangement, one with twin pianos and one with a violin solo. All of them presented a high level of professional music skill.

As the Concert booklet said, Dr. Sun's 清晰俐落的指揮技巧, 細膩感性的詮譯風格, 與活力權威的掌控能力 is her key to succeed.

An Email to My Daughter

Dear Lily,

Thanks for the addresses!

We spent the day yesterday with Rosa family and had a wonderful time.

Rosa took Mom and me to a Salon Concert hosted by Frederic Chopin Foundation Taipei. The founder of this Foundation is Professor Azusa Anna Fujita - a famous pianist most people in Taiwan know (In Chinese known as 藤田梓.)

This is a very special and relaxed concert of another kind, with full mood of a regular concert but without the "serious" atmosphere at all, the 50 to 60 attendants were comfortably sitting in a well designed small hall of a hotel room with soft lightening, enjoying tea, coffee, and refreshments while listening to the wonderful music from a lovely 6-grade girl, one of Azusa's outstanding students.

Except us three, most of the participants were famous guests in music field or Government officials and their families.

Program of the day was:

1. F. Chopin : Scherzo No. 2 Op. 31
2. F. Liszt : Rigoletto Paraphrase
3. Shooting Star for Soprano, Double Bass and Piano by this little musician Jessica Chang

Tea Break

4. Improvisations for piano and double bass

Rosa also turned in a melody (theme) and she composted into a 5-minute long beautiful piano music immediately without a moment of hesitating. This little girl is really a genius.

The concert was in the afternoon and it lasted one and a half hours. This is one of their monthly activities for March. Next one will be on 4/6 and, as a member of this Foundation, Rosa will go again.

In the evening we went to the Taipei International Lantern Festival after we enjoyed beef noodle at a famous noodle house.

There were tens of hundred lanterns of every kind, everywhere inside and outside of the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Area. In addition to the spectacular main lantern there were also a beautiful "lantern tunnel", a student lantern section full of creativity, an international lantern section representing diverse world cultures, a folk art street festival, a riddle contest, and authentic local foods.

Though this was the last second day of the festival, it attacked thousands of people, shoulders rubbed against each other in the crowds.

海天合唱團 愛的世界

近幾天，在海天經歷了一些極平凡但感人的故事：

〈一〉 JJ

Conductor 發起的S-Program 上週日是第二次。 我自告奮勇，響應與大家分享一首歌曲。無奈偏到緊要關頭，銀幕出不來。眾人都在乾等，又急又糗，那種焦慮的心境，諒許多人皆有嚐過 。

此時JJ及時跑上來，和我站在一起，建議我試這試那。 這種關鍵時刻，有人在旁陪着關心我，立刻讓我有莫大的安全感，心情即時安定下來。加上王老師也乘機先教大家鬆弛運動的準備動作，轉移了大家的注意力，我頓時如釋重擔，問題不久也就解決了。

回家路上，感激之心，一直縈繞心頭。 突然想起初中讀過的英文課：「A friend in need is a friend indeed.」雖然用在此並不完全切題，但是就是那種意思。

〈二〉 Cherry

Stella英文流利，每次的週報都很精采。我和許多團員一樣，一收到便迫不及待一口氣看完。其中Cherry更是關心之極 ，曯咐Stella不要忘記cc 給她。 這只是一件小事，但裡面蘊藏了一份對海天濃厚的「關心」。海天就是有許多像 Cherry 這種團員，才有今天這種興旺的人氣。

〈三〉 Conductor

Conductor上課，有超然心願，恨不得將她數十年所學，傾囊而出，全數教給我們。前述發起S Program，費時，費心，費錢，費事，其目的只有一個： 希望把我們這群「小朋友」變成「維也納合唱團」。教導一個團體的人，如此關心這個團體，實是我們這群「小朋友」的幸福。

以上三個小故事，皆發自「關心」，源自「愛心」，費人省思。

優秀的合唱團隊 四大要求

【大紀元1月28日訊】“新唐人臺灣合唱團”隸屬于新唐人亞太電視臺，成立於2005年8月，由一群熱愛歌唱之人士所組成，成員包括各界人士、大專院校及研究所學生，由指揮家葉采萱擔任指揮兼聲樂指導，清新優美的演唱風格廣受好評。

“新唐人臺灣合唱團”是一支優秀的業餘合唱團，成員都是忙碌的上班族或就讀大學和研究所的學生，利用業餘有限的時間認真投入練唱，追求卓越音樂展演的熱忱不亞於專業團隊。在舞臺上團員們表現默契十足，清新優美的演唱風格廣受好評，每次演出之後都會聽到觀眾的迴響，當中有許多稱讚和鼓勵，令團員頗為雀躍與欣慰！

合唱不僅是看譜唱歌而已，其實包含許多學問和技能，團員必須具備基本的音樂能力，並養成積極練唱的態度與習慣。從歌唱的表現來說，合唱訓練和獨唱一樣重視發聲及演唱技巧，獨唱講求個人色彩，合唱則注重團體的合作與協調，對於團員的音準、音色及聲部的均衡諧和等，都會嚴格要求，避免特別突出的聲音或雜音影響整體的音樂，以求完美的展現。

優秀的合唱團隊 四大要求

常常有人問起，一個好的合唱團須具備哪些條件？道來林林總總，其中最重要的有四項：

第一、團員必須具備基本的音樂能力，如音感、節奏感、讀譜能力等。
第二、團員要有合作的觀念及聲音協調的技術，合唱是整體的音樂表現，不能只求個人的表現。
第三、團員必須養成積極練唱的態度與習慣。
第四、合唱團要有開闊的文化視野，並且熱愛精緻藝術。

要帶領出一個好團隊需要指揮的用心，秉持一貫的熱情和理想，體認豐富的音樂層次與內涵必須建立在良好的技巧之上。

這一年多的努力，已在團員身上見到開花結果，各方面的表現都有長足的進展，不僅讀譜能力及音感增強了，更因發聲和演唱技巧的進步，使整體的歌聲清澈圓潤許多，咬字也較清晰，並能演唱難度較高的合唱曲。此次在全球華人新年晚會演出，能夠涵納多樣風格，可見“新唐人臺灣合唱團”追求經典藝術內涵的用心。

美聲極致：21世紀是人聲的世紀

“歌唱”是世上最古老的音樂藝術，在人類生活中歌聲處處可聞，影響的層面非常深遠，包括教育、娛樂、宗教等文化內涵。中國元朝有一句名言：“絲不如竹，竹不如肉。”點出聲樂比器樂更貼近人心，法國一代帝王拿破崙也說：“所有音樂專案中，歌唱對人的感情影響最巨。”可見人們對聲樂的喜愛中外皆然，因為曲中有歌詞，演唱者對音樂情感的詮釋與聽眾容易產生共鳴，也更具有感動人心的力量。

合唱屬於聲樂的範疇，也是一門專業藝術，從十四世紀歐洲的教會音樂發展而來，主要特色是採用對位的手法創作多聲部歌曲，稱為複音音樂，同時也影響歐洲各國世俗音樂的發展長達兩個世紀，這就是音樂史上相當重要的文藝復興時期。十七世紀之後音樂創作產生很大的改變，開始採用和聲的手法，逐漸發展為各種形式的合唱作品，包括歌劇、清唱劇、彌撒曲、安魂曲、藝術歌曲和民歌改編的合唱曲等，除了人聲的編制，樂器的伴奏使合唱有更多表現空間。如今合唱是全球共用的音樂藝術，甚至有人預言：21世紀是人聲的世紀。

It is an exciting news to let you know that SeaSky has grown up and will step out to share her love to our community senior friends. It’s on Wednesday, February 14, 2007.
