歷年獲得多次豎笛演奏比賽前茅的她，即將從今年的12月起展開個人一系列的豎笛獨奏會的博士生演出。

孫愛光是台灣師範大學音樂系副教授。北德大管弦樂指揮博士，國立臺灣師範大學指揮碩士，以及鋼琴學士。曾經指揮台北ＹＭＣＡ合唱團八年及需多其他樂團。ＹＭＣＡ合唱團在台灣有無數次公演，也曾在泰國，日本，美國，加拿大等地演唱過。

Get-together Party at Deerfield

After a long time quiet, DSSC finally decided to have a get-together party at the Deerfield Home Association's Club Center on July 4th. This center is located on Old Pond Drive in the Deerfield Development and it is close to Legacy Drive and Ohio.

According to the President, the center is available from 4 PM to midnight. Hope all SeaSky members and their families can participate.

宋祖英2006年美國演唱會

《環球時報》記者當晚在肯尼迪表演藝術中心音樂廳看到，2,300個座位幾乎座無虛席。在近兩個小時的演唱中，身著華麗民族服裝的宋祖英為中外觀眾演唱了《山歌好比春江水》、《苗嶺飛歌》、《辣妹子》、《木蘭從軍》等16首民族經典音樂作品。演唱會以美國觀眾熟知的《好一朵美麗的茉莉花》開始，以《愛我中華》結束。

這場音樂會做了很多創新，不僅淋漓盡致地展現了中國民歌的獨特意境和魅力，也體現了中國民歌與美國文化珠聯璧合。宋祖英與美國藝術家密切合作，在演唱《小河淌水》時，有三個牛仔打扮的美國帥哥手捧紅花用中文伴唱﹔演唱《出嫁歌》時，在舞台上安排了4個身穿苗族盛裝的小姑娘和聲；為宋祖英伴唱的華盛頓合唱團，全場使用漢語，聽起來竟然也字正腔圓。這些都給人耳目一新之感。宋祖英還演唱了美國音樂劇《西區故事》選段。

演唱會結束時，觀眾全場自發起立，掌聲經久不息達數分鐘，宋祖英先後三次謝幕。最後她用英語無伴奏清唱了一首美國人耳熟能詳的美國歌曲《美麗的美國》，現場的美國觀眾有的竟感動得流下眼淚。
